The replay does not allow to verify the existence of a bug.

itsastinkbug used the little help from the professor: impossible to say if it is a mistake on his part or a trial because he could not finish his turn.
It was up to this player to report the bug that you are just guessing, and to provide a screenshot as proof.

My girlfriend ran into same situation. She was unable to finish her turn and eventually her time ran out.

She says that she couldn't click Take Ingredient or Get Help. It kept reporting that she couldn't take an ingredient or get help. But that was her only options available.

I had to replay my turn, and then interface wouldn't let me finish my turn or take an ingredient. Replay is where the bug is.

Same thing in table 96711100 for player 85978228. I think it was move 262 for mauvo.

Player started turn. Player took an ingredient (which, correctly, did not trigger any explosion). Then, they used replay to see what the board had looked like before they took their turn. This got the game into a state where they again had the "Take Ingredient" option, but could not use it.

Player refreshed with F5 - did not fix the problem.

Player used "Get Help" - that operated correctly, but did not fix the problem.

Player logged out and logged back in again (may also have closed the browser, I'm not sure) - that did fix the problem, and the game continued successfully from there.

I agree with tess_crow that this is around replay. I haven't tried to recreate the problem since.

Player took ingredients and filled some potions. Then I tried to use potion of prismatic joy. Potion was highlighted but then I was given the option to finish adding ingredients (rather than do what I wanted to do - which was add the ingredients from my pool to the potion). When I clicked finish (because that seemed to be the only option) it told me I’d used the potion but without it allowing me to put the ingredients from my pool into the potion. I tried to replay to figure out what had happened. When I did this it took me back to the ‘pick ingredient’ stage and deleted 2 of my potions. There were different ingredients in the dispenser than before I’d hit refresh. Then it got stuck - it wouldn’t let me pick an ingredient as I’d already picked one but wouldn’t let me finish/skip the rest of the turn.

Bug au cours d'une partie, impossible de finir le tour de jeu, demande de prendre un ingrédient sans cesse.
Les deux potions que j'avais étaient superposées.
Des billes apparaissaient superposées aussi.
F5 ne résolvait pas le problème mais relançait systématiquement l'historique du jeu sans pouvoir l'arrêter.
Aucune possibilité de communiquer avec les autres joueurs.
La connexion internet était stable.
Il a fallu fermer le navigateur et le relancer puis reprendre la partie.
Entre temps, j'ai été écartée du jeu mais j'ai pu finir en ayant loupé 6 tours environ.

@ jjcf89: To the extent that I can trust the replay, the game situation you report is unrelated to this report. I notice that player Bunny9 had at the end of their turn a Pool with an empty hole, where the player had placed a yellow marble at the beginning of their turn, but which curiously returned to his hand later. This empty hole prevented their turn from finishing, what's normal.

Only this player could say what really happened with that yellow marble. So I repeat one of my frequent recommendations: don’t report a bug noticed by another player!

I did not check the game situations corresponding to other comments, but it seems to me that most of the problems encountered are due to a lack of ergonomics.

If you have taken an Ingredient, the interface should no longer offer you this action.
If you used the little help from the professor, the interface should no longer offer you this action.
When the end of the turn is invalidated by a partially empty reserve and marbles in hand, an inactive end of turn button (crossed or greyed out) should appear.

Same thing happened in game #108528243. The active player received an exception, the rest of us could see the Dispenser was so low on marbles that an empty space had formed, if that helps.

It is bad that I lost reputation because of not solved bugs in the game. I think I will leave BGA soon.

I am blocked on my game for the exact same reason as the other players. It was already stuck before I used the little help, so that’s not the problem.
I can’t believe this bug has been there for THREE YEARS and players are still hindered by it and losing reputation! Do something !?
