It would be really great to be able to 'X' tiles out on the screen, or have a dropdown box to mark them yes, no, or maybe.

I would like something similar to the 13 Clues UI where you have all the clues on a grid and you can mark with a check, X, or question mark. This would help greatly with turn based games so you don't have to figure it out every time you come back to play your turn.

Both really good suggestions. The note function is already in turn-based able but when its better to have it as well in real-time games

That already exists, as it does in all games. If you look in the upper right corner, you will see there is a paper and pencil icon just to the right of the menu. That's the note-taking tool.
