Leviathan allows to earn 7 points and select a player to discard a purple card.
I had Leviathan already played in my area. I want to play Scorch to copy Leviathans effect and select myself to discard Scorch again. However, I was not able to play Scorch at all. It said that there is no valid effect to copy. Probably because there was no other purple card and it did not consider itself to be discarded. -

Why not let me just score 7 points and ignore the discard effect?
