The rules for evade say "The attacker can choose a different target at a distance that is less than or equal to their range. If the attack is not redirected, the action is considered taken, but wasted."
To me, this sounds like I should be able to waste my attack as the attacker. Instead, the game appears to have forced me to attack my other unit in the area, killing it instantly.
Also, the ingame activity log should probably mention "evade" so it is easy for players to find it in rules. -
