Nian Shou, an evil spirit, threatens the balance of our world and only the most powerful master of spirits will triumph. Master your yin and yang to enchant Celestial Spirits... or pass over to the evil side! You read that right, in BEYOND, you can join the evil side and rule the world with an iron fist, leaving no chance for your enemies.
In this competitive card game, the player with the most energy points wins. To secure these precious points, you need to gather 4 cards representing one of the celestial spirits, it then becomes enchanted and cannot be stolen away from you. To obtain cards, you can push your luck when drawing cards, use tokens in exchange for cards or steal cards from other players, using the back side of your cards (yeah, the cards have 2 sides).
When a player has performed 3 celestial enchantments (basically has completed 3 sets of 4 celestial cards), the game comes to an end and the count for energy points starts. BGA will do this part and name the winner. And there is another way to win BEYOND, instantly: enchant the Nian Shou Spirit, which means that you must have all 6 of this Evil Spirit's unique cards.
Does this sound all too easy? Try the advanced mode and use protection tokens or summon spirits. This should make things interesting…

Nian Shou, uno spirito maligno, minaccia l’equilibrio del nostro mondo e solo il più potente maestro degli spiriti trionferà. Padroneggia il tuo yin e yang per incantare gli Spiriti Celesti... o passa dalla parte del male! Hai letto bene, in BEYOND puoi unirti al lato oscuro e governare il mondo con il pugno di ferro, senza lasciare scampo ai tuoi nemici.
In questo gioco di carte competitivo, il giocatore con più punti energia vince. Per assicurarsi questi preziosi punti, è necessario raccogliere 4 carte che rappresentano uno degli spiriti celesti, che diventano incantate e non possono essere rubate. Per ottenere le carte, è possibile sfidare la fortuna pescando carte, usare gettoni in cambio di carte o rubare carte agli altri giocatori, usando il retro delle proprie carte (sì, le carte hanno due lati).
Quando un giocatore ha eseguito tre incantesimi celesti (in pratica ha completato tre set di quattro carte celesti), il gioco termina e inizia il conteggio dei punti energia. BGA si occuperà di questa parte e proclamerà il vincitore. C'è un altro modo per vincere BEYOND, all'istante: incantare lo Spirito Nian Shou, il che significa che devi avere tutte e 6 le carte uniche di questo Spirito Maligno.
