In the King of the Woods, you are an animal! But not just any animal: one who competes to rule the woods. Join a not-so friendly contest to determine who is the strongest, the smartest, the fairest, and the most influential animal.
Your vassals will help you in your quest to gain influence using their abilities to work in your favor or to destabilize your opponents’ court. So how does it work? How do you gain that most coveted influence?
At the start of the game, you are dealt a random hand of different types of vassals, and you must make the best of it. There are 11 different vassals, each with unique influence points and abilities. You can play one card per turn. If you play the card into your own court, gain its influence value, and, for some, their ability. If you play the card into the court of an opponent, they gain its influence, but you benefit from its unique scheming ability.

In The King of the Woods, sei un animale! Ma non un animale qualsiasi: uno che compete per dominare il bosco. Partecipa a una gara non proprio amichevole per determinare chi è l'animale più forte, più intelligente, più giusto e più influente.
I tuoi vassalli ti aiuteranno nella tua missione di acquisire influenza, usando le loro abilità per giocare a tuo favore o per destabilizzare la corte avversaria. Quindi come funziona? Come si ottiene quella influenza tanto ambita?
