The Wolves is a pack-building strategy game for 2-5 players. It's survival of the fittest as you compete to build the largest, most dominant pack by claiming territory, recruiting lone wolves, and hunting prey. But be careful not to expand too recklessly into terrain where your rivals thrive– they may lure members of your pack away.
A clever action-selection mechanism drives your choices. Each action requires you to flip terrain tiles matching the terrain where you wish to take your action. These double-sided tiles mean the actions you take this round will set up which terrain types you can act on in the next round. As you take actions to expand your pack's control of each region, you also upgrade your pack's attributes, allowing you to take more aggressive actions as the game goes on.
In three mid-game scoring phases, power is calculated in each region. At the end of the game, players tally points based on VP tokens earned in these scoring phases and the highest VP number revealed in each of the six tracks on your player board. The player with the most VP wins!

Non essere un branco di lupi formato da un solo uomo o da una sola donna.
Porta alcuni amici all'azione!
The Wolves è un gioco di strategia di costruzione di branchi da due a cinque giocatori.
È la sopravvivenza del più forte, mentre competi per costruire il branco più numeroso e dominante rivendicando territori, reclutando lupi solitari e cacciando prede.
Ma fai attenzione a non espanderti in modo troppo avventato in un terreno in cui prosperano i tuoi rivali: potrebbero indurre i membri del tuo branco a lasciarti.
Un intelligente meccanismo di selezione delle azioni guida le tue scelte.
Ogni azione richiede di girare le tessere terreno corrispondenti al terreno su cui desideri svolgere l'azione.
Queste tessere a doppia faccia indicano che le azioni che intraprendi in questo turno determineranno su quali tipi di terreno potrai agire nel turno successivo.
Man mano che esegui azioni per espandere il controllo del tuo branco su ciascuna regione, aggiorni anche le caratteristiche del tuo branco, che ti permettono di intraprendere azioni più aggressive, man mano che il gioco va avanti.
La potenza viene calcolata in ciascuna regione, in tre fasi di punteggio nel corso della partita.
Alla fine della partita i giocatori contano i punti in base ai gettoni VP guadagnati in queste fasi di punteggio e al più alto numero di VP rivelato in ciascuno dei sei tracciati sulla plancia giocatore.
Vince il giocatore con più VP!
