Making a huge gaming service available 24/24 hours, everyday of the year is not an easy task, especially when you consider that a "short" 5 minutes service interruption breaks almost all realtime games in progress ... Each time there is an incident on BGA, we try to be as transparent as possible, explaining you what happened and what we did to make sure this won't happened. We also cancel all "leaving game" penalties applied because of the incident. Recently, we decided to go one step further and give you a more detailed view of the status of the BGA server. This graph shows you, anytime, the number of moves played in the platform. We chose to use number of moves instead of something more "technical" because everyone knows what is a move, and because if the number of moves played on BGA is not decreasing, it means that (almost) all players on BGA can play, so it means that the service is normal (at normal speed). Rendere la piattaforma di gioco disponibile 24 ore su 24 tutti i giorni non è un compito facile, soprattutto se si considera che un'interruzione breve del servizio, anche di 5 minuti, danneggia quasi tutti i giochi in tempo reale in corso...
Ogni volta che c'è un incidente su BGA, cerchiamo di essere più trasparenti possibile, spiegando cosa è successo e quello che abbiamo fatto per assicurarci che questo non accada.
Cancelliamo anche le penalità "abbandono di gioco" che sono state applicate a causa dell'incidente.
Recentemente, abbiamo deciso di fare un passo avanti e darvi una visione più dettagliata dello stato dei server di BGA.
Questo grafico vi propone, in qualsiasi momento, il numero di mosse giocate sulla piattaforma.
Abbiamo scelto di utilizzare il numero di mosse invece di qualcosa di più "tecnico" perché tutti sanno che cosa è una mossa, e perché se il numero di mosse giocate su BGA non sta diminuendo, vuol dire che (quasi) tutti i giocatori su BGA possono giocare, quindi vuol dire che il servizio è normale (a velocità normale).
