A mad scientist named Dr Foo has built an unstable time machine, the Omniscience 2000, and is using it to hop between seven great Eras of history, spawning duplicates of himself and tearing open rifts in spacetime.
Those rifts are slowly shredding reality itself. If too many pile up on one Era, it turns into a Vortex, and if the universe accumulates too many Vortexes, everything is destroyed and the players lose together. Yes, the LOOP is a coop game! Standing in Dr Foo’s way is a ragtag squad of Time Agents, you and the other players, armed with a personal deck of quirky "Artifact”.
Each Agent's turn feels like a little adventure of its own. You hop from Era to Era, spending your Energy to move, then dip into you hand of cards to patch up rifts, take down Foo’s duplicates, or scrounge up more energy for later. With every turn that ticks by, Dr Foo grows bolder, spinning off more duplicates and hurling rifts into the timeline, forcing you and your team to stay one step ahead or watch the universe collapse.
Like in most coop games, there is one way to win and multiple ways to lose. Success means the team puts away four sabotaged pieces and therefore save spacetime, closing with a triumphant "K.U.D.O.S!" from headquarters and, well, some XP, but that’s a BGA exclusive... Failure means the Agency's wall of shame gains new names, and the universe quietly ceases to exist. NO PRESSURE… but… EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON YOU!
You’ll have a Designated Instructor accompanying you through the tutorial if you want to get acquainted with how to defeat Dr Foo and his terrible time machine. Otherwise, the first time portal is waiting for you.

THE LOOP: Tutto dipende da te!
Uno scienziato pazzo di nome dottor Foo ha costruito una macchina del tempo instabile, L'Omniscience 2000, e la sta usando per viaggiare tra sette grandi epoche della storia, generando duplicati di se stesso e aprendo squarci nello spaziotempo.
Quelle fratture stanno lentamente lacerando la realtà stessa. Se se ne accumulano troppe in un' era, questa si trasforma in un Vortice, e se l'universo accumula troppi Vortici tutto viene distrutto e i giocatori perdono insieme. Sì, LOOP è un gioco cooperativo! A ostacolare il dottor Foo c'è una sgangherata squadra di Agenti del Tempo, tu e gli altri giocatori, armati di un mazzo personale di stravaganti "Artefatti".
Ogni turno dell'Agente sembra una piccola avventura a sé stante. Si passa da un'Era all'altra spendendo Energia per muoversi, per poi pescare carte dalla propria mano per riparare le fratture, eliminare i duplicati di Foo o raccogliere altra energia per dopo. A ogni turno che passa il dottor Foo diventa più audace, generando altri duplicati e aprendo fratture nella linea temporale, costringendo te e la tua squadra a rimanere sempre un passo avanti o a guardare l'universo collassare.
Come nella maggior parte dei giochi cooperativi c'è un solo modo per vincere e molti modi per perdere. Il successo significa che la squadra mette al sicuro quattro pezzi sabotati e quindi salva lo spaziotempo, concludendo con un trionfale "KUDOS!" dal quartier generale e, be', un po' di XP, ma questa è un'esclusiva di BGA... Il fallimento significa che il muro della vergogna dell'Agenzia si arricchisce di nuovi nomi e l'universo cessa silenziosamente di esistere. NESSUNA PRESSIONE... ma... TUTTO DIPENDE DA TE!
