The second title in the Quartermaster General "Front" series, a two-player strategy game, that can also be played solo, brings the Mediterranean theater of World War II to life.
Set between Summer 1940 and Spring 1944, Quartermaster General: South Front depicts the intense struggle for control over Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Mediterranean. The Axis player controls Germany, Italy, and their allies, while the Allied player leads the United Kingdom, the United States, and Free France.
If you’re already familiar with Quartermaster General: East Front, you’ll be pleased to find that none of the rules have changed, and the new additional rules will feel familiar. One key difference is that you have only one action per turn, making this game quicker. And the biggest change is the addition of a full fledge naval game.
The game is won by accumulating Victory Points, most of which will be awarded for controlling geographical objectives during the four annual scoring rounds. Strategic naval dominance and careful resource management are key to victory in this immersive and dynamic addition to the Quartermaster General Front series.

Il secondo titolo della serie Quartermaster General "Front", un gioco di strategia per due giocatori, giocabile anche in solitario, riporta in vita il teatro di guerra del Mediterraneo durante la seconda guerra mondiale.
Ambientato tra l'estate del 1940 e la primavera del 1944, Quartermaster General: South Front raffigura l'intensa lotta per il controllo dell'Europa meridionale, del Nord Africa e del Mediterraneo. Il giocatore dell'Asse controlla la Germania, l'Italia e i loro alleati, mentre il giocatore degli Alleati guida il Regno Unito, gli Stati Uniti e la Francia Libera.
Se hai già familiarità con Quartermaster General: East Front sarai lieto di scoprire che nessuna delle regole è cambiata e le nuove regole aggiuntive ti risulteranno familiari. Una differenza fondamentale è che hai a disposizione una sola azione per turno, il che rende il gioco più veloce. La novità più importante è l'aggiunta di una vera e propria modalità di gioco navale.
Il gioco si vince accumulando Punti Vittoria, la maggior parte dei quali viene assegnata per il controllo di obiettivi geografici durante i quattro round di punteggio annuali. Il dominio navale strategico e un'attenta gestione delle risorse sono fondamentali per la vittoria in questa coinvolgente e dinamica aggiunta alla serie Quartermaster General Front.
