GUIDE TO CREATING A PRIVATE GAME FOR FRIENDS/GROUP ON BGA (on desktop)
- Click Play Now, in the website header menu.
- In the new menu choose Simple Game / Realtime or Turn-based / Manual Choice of Opponents.
- Select the board game you want to play from the options available and click the "Play Now" button.
- A new menu will appear, click the "Create" button to make a new game table.
(Don't click "Open Table to Other Players" unless you want to make it publicly available)
- Click the "Restrict table access" link in the top right in the "Players at this Table" section. A pop-up menu will open. Select the option to "Restrict to group", pick "Boardgames Social" and click okay.
- Take your time setting up the game table, player count, settings, etc. I recommend the Game Speed to be "Turn-based - 1 move per day", meaning all players must take a turn each day but may do more.
- After you're happy with the settings - share the full table URL from the address bar in the Discuss section of this group!
- Once your table is full you are good to play! Enjoy
